STAFF ADJUSTMENTS
PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS
The following appointments, promotions, and transfers of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces were announced in the Gazette on Thursday:— STAFF. Captain B. Barrington, Ist Battalion, - The Wellington West Coast Regiment, is attached to Army Headquarters, Wellington, for duty as Staff Officer (Mobilisation). Captain E, T. W. Love. Ist Eattalion, The Wellington. Regiment (City of Wellington's Own), is attached to Army ( Headquarters, Wellington, for duty in j connection with the formation of the Maori Battalion. - . Captain St. J. A. Hill, Royal Indian Army Service Corps, is attached to Army Headquarters, Wellington, for duty as Staff Offlcer (M.T.). Captain E. E. Lloyd, N.Z. Staff Corps, is appointed Adjutant (temporary), Burnham Camp. Lieutenant R. A. McKinlay, N.Z. Staff Corps, is appointed Adjutant, The Nelson-Marlborough Mounted Rifles, Blenheim. ' Lieutenant A. W. Brown, M.C, D.C.M., N.Z. Staff Corps, is appointed Quartermaster. Machine-gun Battalion. Special Force. Burnham, Captain R. C. Queree. Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery, having returned to the Dominion, is appointed acting District Artillery Officer, Northern Military District. Auckland. Lieutenant M, T. S. Dew. N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointments of Adjutant, Ist Field Ambulance and Assistant Area Officer, No. 1 area, Auckland, and is appointed Instructor Northern Military District School of Instruction, Narrow Neck. Lieutenant and b Quartermaster G.F. McCulloch, M.8.E., N.Z. Permanent Staff, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant. Army School of Instruction, and is appointed Instuctor, Army School of Instruction, Trentham. Lieutenant J. D. Armstrong, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, Central Military District School of Instruction, and is appointed Adjutant. Army School of Instruction, Trentham. REGIMENT OF ROYAL N.Z. ARTILLERY. Lieutenant-Colonel W. G. Stevens is granted the temporary rank of Colonel. N.Z. TEMPORARY STAFF. Major D. M. Robertson, E.D., Retired List, is to be Captain, and is attached to the branch of the Adjutant-General, Army Headquarters, Wellington. Major G. A. Gibbs, from the Reserve of Officers, N.Z. Army Medical Corps, to be Major, and is appointed Staff Officer and Quartermaster Medical Services, Army Headquarters, Wellington, Captain B. Barrington, Ist Battalion, The Wellington West Coast Regiment, to be Captain and is appointed Staff Officer (Mobilisation), Army Headquarters, Wellington. ~„.,. Lieutenant L. A. Lincoln, Ist Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, to be Lieutenant (temporary Captain) and is appointed District Engineer Works Officer, Northern Military District, Auckland. !
