RABBITSKINS IN DEMAND.
There was a good demand at thil week's auction of rabbitskins in Dunedin, all grades being sought after at values slightly easier than previous quotations. Exporters took the bulk of the offering, while suitable parcels were taken by New Zealand manufacturers. 'Although the quality of the skins put forward is deteriorating good prices are still being paid, and orders are on the market for all descriptiaris. Winter bucks sold to 88Jd- and winter does sold to 50Jd. The following is the official range of prices:-—Summer broken, 273 dto 29|d per lb; second winter broken, 33|d to 36£ d; first winter broken, 36|d to 37Jd; winter black. 34d to 39d; winter fawns, 40d to 50d* first milky, 35|d to 36 Jd; milky, 27} d to 30Jd; spotted winter bucks, 68Jd "to 73Jd; second winter bucks, 80Jd to 894 d* first winter bucks, 87Jd to 92d; spotted winter does, 41|d to 44Jd; second winter does, 45Jd to_ 48% d; first Avihter does, 49* dto 5Hd; outgoing winter bucks bljd to 66d; outgoing winter does 38* d to. 44d; spring bucks, 47Jd to 52Jd; spring does, 30Jd to 37idfirst ferrets (each) 4s lid to 6s Idsecond ferrets (each).
