TWO HUNDRED GUESTS

FORT DORSET ASSOCIATION

DANCE

A very successful dance was held on Wednesday evening at the Masonic Hall, Seatoun, when the officers, n.c.o.s, and men of Fort Dorset were the guests of the Fort Dorset Association. The hall, which was attractively decorated with flags, was packed to its capacity by the 200 dancers present.

The president, Major A. C. Hinman, extended a welcome to the guests and ■said that it was very encouraging to the association to see such a good attendance. A vote of thanks to the ladies was carried with acclamation, and a special tribute to Mrs. Fanselow and the ladies' committee, who provided a delightful' supper, was carried with musical honours. Lieutenant Kennerly responded on behalf of the men from Fort Dorset, and expressed their appreciation of the association's activities.

The Fort Dorset Association was represented by Major and Mrs. A. C. Hinman, Lieut.-Colonel and Mrs. W; F. Stilwell, Major and Mrs. J. Abel, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tait, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. W. Murie, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Perry, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Wixon, and Mr. F. W. Martin.
