The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report receiving exceptionally heavy yardings of pigs and poultry at their usual weekly fair held on Thursday, and to a full bench of buyers a total clearance was made at prices a little in excess of last week's realisations. Porkers were again keenly .sought after, realising up to £2 12s. Very large supplies of vegetables and fruit were disposed of at undermentioned rates.

We quote as follows:— Pigs.—Best weaners, 23s to 255; medium, 20s to 225; small, 16s 6d to 19s 6d; slips, prime 27s to 30s, others 235: stores, 30s to 395; 'heavy porkers. £2 10s to £2 12s; light porkers. 38s to 47s

Poultry.—Best W.L. hens, 7s 6d to 9s per pair; heavy hens, 8.0., lis 6d to 13s 6d; light hens, 6s to 6s 6d per pair; ducks, young 10s 6d to 12s per pair, old 7s to 8s per pair; cockerels, large 6s to 7s per pair, small ls to 5s per pair; duck and ducklings, 13s to 225; hens and chicks, 5s to 13s; geese. 8s per pair. Produce. —Apples, Delicious 16s to 16s 6d per case.
