N "VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at ■*-"'■ a Special Meeting of the LoAver Hutt Borough Council held on Monday, the 9th Day of October, 1939, it AVas resolved as folloAvs:— That in pursuance, and exercise of the poAvers vested in it by the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926" and the "Municipal Corporations Act, 1933," and of all other Acts and poAvers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, the Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves by Avay of special order:— . 1. That the Council proceed to, raise a loan of £5000 for the purpose, of the acquisition of land and the erection of workers' dwellings thereon and for such other purposes as are permitted by Part XXVII of the "Municipal Corporations ' Act, 1933." 2. That as provision for the repayment of the said loan the Council issues fifty debentures f0r.£163 65.6 d each, one maturing each six months'during the term of tbe loan, which has been fixed at twentyfive years. •'.'..'■• . 3. That the security for the said loan shall be a special rate of 33/710 of a penny in the pound on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Lower Hutt which said rate is hereby appropriated to the above loan. 4.That the interest on the said loan shall be at a rate not exceeding four pounds five shillings per centum per annum. 5. That it is. not proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan or the interest and principal repayment for the first year.
