For Scotland, Mrs. Mclntyre gave a recitation, and Mr. Lan MacKay a short talk. The Rev. Costain sang two Manx folk songs, Mrs. G. R. Thomas two Irish songs, Mrs. D. Roberts, an Australian, gave a short talk, Mrs. McLeod sang the Canadian national anthem, and Mr. Phipps sang two appropriate English songs. Misses Smythson and Mead gave a short greeting in French from the French Club. To conclude the programme all present joined in the singing of national, songs. Miss Hardie. of Lower Hitt, played all the accompaniments, and Mrs. Jesson acted as hostess. Supper was served by Mrs. Morrisby and other members of the committee.
