DISAPPOINTED MAN

(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.! (Received October 24, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 23. A message from Berlin says that Japan has recalled her Ambassador. General Hiroshi Oshima, in favour of Mr. Saburo Kurusu from Belgium. General Oshima is most disappointed. It is felt that his mission to Berlin ended when the Russo-German treaty frustrated his"plan for a military pact between Germany and Japan.
