A REQUISITION PLAN

(Received September 23, noon.) LONDON, September 22. The Ministry of Information states that, in order to facilitate the equitable distribution of butter during the period pending the introduction of rationing, all butter registered in cold stores, all imports, and all butter manufactured in Britain will be requisitioned tomorrow. It will later be disposed of through normal trade channels. The Ministry of Food has prohibited dealings, except under licence, in certain foodstuffs.
