DOMINION DAY AT WORLD FAIR

NEW YORK. September 22.

The World Fair Corporation has proclaimed September 25 New Zealand Day at the Fair. The New Zealand colony, led by the Commissioner, Mr. Firth, will participate in ceremonies at the Court of Peace, the Federal Building, and Perylon Hall, and Avill also observe Dominion Day at a reception at the New Zealand pavilion.

Monday will be the 32nd anniversary of the elevation of New Zealand to the status of a Dominion. It will be a bank holiday, and lawyers' premises will also be closed. The day corresponds with the beginning of the Jewish year, Monday being the first day of the year 5700 in the Jewish era.
