APPEAL DISALLOWED
An appeal by the Bay of Plenty Racing Club against & decision of the Auckland district committee was heard by the Eaeing Conference apPeal judges, Messrs. W. E. Leicester, J. W. Card, and H. H. Green, yesterday and it was disallowed. The Auckland district committee's finding appealed against was as follows:—"That in the opinion of the district committee the inquiry into the charge against R. Me; Taylor by the Bay of Plenty Racing Club committee was irregularly conducted and the district c mmittee does not endorse the finding of the club." The appeal judges stated that, having heard Mr. K. J. Renme on behalf of the Bay of Plenty Racing Club and having read the evidence ahd findings, they were of Opinion that the view taken by the Auckland district committee of the Rules of Racing involved was the correct one and they endorsed it accord* ingly.
