FARMERS' AUCTIONEERING COMPANY

The annual accounts of the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., Hamilton, show net profits for the year ended July 31 at £51,602, compared with £60,532 for the previous year. Preference sharenolders have received the usual 6 per cent, dividend, subject to the 20 per cent, statutory re-! duction. The directors now recommend payment of a dividend of 6 per cent, on the ordinary shares, which is an unchanged rate. ! Turnover" for the year dropped to' £1,892,719 from £2,221,110 and gross profits to £166,131 from £174,405. J Against assets totalling £592,477, out-! jside liabilities are £29,264, a percentage |.of less than 5 per cent.
