HUTT POWER BOARD
i Power sales of the Hutt Valley Elecj trie Power Board for April to the end of August, with the figures for the corresponding period of last year in parentheses, are as follows:—Availability rate, £30,063 (£23,700); comImercial lighting, £7882 (£7363); water heating, £8102 (£6066); power, £15,089 (£12,998); public lighting, £1295 (£1311); total, less discounts, £57,003 (£51,695). ; During August 70 new installations were connected to the board's-reticula-] tion, and 130 additions were made to existing installations. On August 31 there were 14,860" installations, 3481 ranges, and 3684 water heaters. The. connected lead in kilowatts was 72,221. It, is expected that there will be 15.000 consumers by the end of this year.
