Exceeding the speed limit cost Lewis Crocker (Lower Hutt) £3 and costs, Val Donald (Wellington), lan Upchurch (Wellington), and John Black Rattray (Waterloo), £2 10s and costs each, and John Gavin Duncan (Wellington), Donald Gray (Wellington), and Massey James McCardle (Lower Hutt), £2 and costs each. , Eric Andrews (Lower Hutt) and lan Harcourt Chesson (Petone) were each j fined £1 and posts for riding bicycles at night without lights. A fine of £2 and costs was imposed on Edward William Cole (Petone) for driving in a manner which might have been dangerous. William Edward Good (Lower Hutt) was fined £1 and costs for driving without due care and attention.
