BRITISH MINISTRIES
VISCOUNT COBHAM WAR UNDER-SECRETARY

LONDON, September 19. New appointments are announced as follows: —
Viscount Cobham, Under-Secretary
for War,
Lord Denham, Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture. Sir Edward Grigg, Secretary to the Ministry of Information.
Viscount Cobham is Lord Lieutenant of "Worcester and served in the South African and European Wars.
Lord Denham has been a Junior Treasury Lord, a Conservative Party Whip, Comptroller of the Royal Household, and vice-chairman of the Conservative Party. He served in the European War with distinction. Sir Edward Grigg was previously Governor of Kenya. He was formerly on the staff of "The Times," and in the war was G. 5.0.1. with the Guards Division. Later he was Military Secretary to the Prince of Wales and secretary to the Rhodes Trustees.
