MESSAGE TO JEWS
ZIONIST LEADER
REGAINING OF RIGHTS AS CITIZENS I (Received September 13, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, September 12. Dr. Chaim Wiezmann, president of the World Zionist organisation, in a New Year message to the Jewish people, says that in a world in which human rights and dignity count, once more the Jew will regain his rights as a human being and as a citizen. "The Jewish people," he states, "can look forward to the fulfilment of their historic right for free return to the homeland. A special responsibility lies upon our brethren in countries where we enjoy freedom of action. This hour demands from us readiness for the utmost sacrifices to save our people and their historic hopes from destruction."
