The monthly meeting of headquarters of the Soldiers' Civil Re-establish-ment League was held last evening, Mr. J. I. Goldsmith, chairman, presiding over a good attendance. Reports from the league's branches indicated that the work of the league is progressing satisfactorily, and some interesting photographs of disabled soldiers who have been successfully reestablished were exhibited.

The Centennial Exhibition sub-com-mittee reported that the Disabled Soldiers' Stall at the Exhibition is almost completed, and goods are being received from disabled soldiers in all parts of New Zealand. The question of assisting the Government in the present war was fully discussed, and the following resolution was car-ried:—-"The Soldiers' Civil Re-estab-lishment League offers its fullest assistance to the New Zealand Government during the- present war in any capacity in which its services may be utilised."
