The inter-club shield contest was advanced a further stage last week. The following games will be played this week —Conder v. Stonebanks; Brighting r. Wilson Hunt v. Wellings.

The following are results of games played in the house cup competition:—Toop and Xellson beat John Duthie and Co., 23-15; John Sincerity beat Globe Printing, 30-15; K. Hannah and Co. No. 1 beat Kirkcaldie and Stains, 20-17 ; "Evening Post" beat Smith and Smith, 25-16; F. Lamberg and Co. beat R. Hannah and Co. No. 2, 23-13.
