PIONEER CLUB INSTITUTE

There was a large gathering of visitors and members at the recent meeting of the Pioneer Club Women's Institute centre. Mrs. W. J. Ross presided and extended a welcome to all present. The programme opened with songs by Mrs. N. Welch, with Mrs. Ken. Fowlds playing the accompaniments. Mrs. Moston was the speaker..and gave a general description of the beauty and extent of the League of Nations buildings at Geneva. She outlined the growth of the International Labour Organisation, and gave a detailed account of the procedure at last year's 1.L.0. conference. Her remarks were followed ■ with much interest. A vote of thanks was accorded those who had entertained. Afternoon tea was served.
