PROBATION FOR MECHANIC
On a charge of obtaining from E. Saunders £.40 by a false pretence, Reginald Victor Duck, aged 34, a mechanic, was convicted by Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today and placed on probation for twelve months. Detective-Sergeant E. H. Compton conducted the police case and Mr. A. J. Mazengarb the defence.
