SOLID PLASTERING TRADE
Though agreement was reached en a number of. clauses for a proposed New Zealand award for the solid plastering trade, the Conciliation Council which yesterday dealt .with the dis-
; nte did not reach any settlement on the questions of wages, overtime, holidays, the term of th<* award, and country and suburban work, and these clauses were referred to the Court of Arbitration.
Mr. M. J. Reardon, Conciliation Commissioner, presided. The workers were represented by Messrs. L. Wolfe, L. J. Barker, J. Purtell, and R. Norwood (Auckland), J. Hallam (Wellington), and E. C. Weavers (Wellington) agent. Messrs. H. Purdie (Auckland,, W. H. Smith, A. Fletcher, * J B. Walton, and H. J. Bishop, agent (Wellington), represented the employers.
