HUTT VALLEY TITLES

< The finals of the 1939 Hutt Valley table tennis championships were concluded last night. In the final of the men's singles Osbaldiston defeated M. Gosling in straight sets (three), winning his second Hutt Valley title in three years. J. Croudis and S. Henderson were the defeated semi-flnalists.

Miss B. Strang (Hutt Valley), run-ner-up in the North Island championships and winner of the Wellington title, beat Mrs. G. M. Valk, also of Hutt Valley. Miss D. Croxton and Miss K. Tustin were the eliminated semifinalists. ..-'."
