TRADE IN PACIFIC
SUBSIDISED LINE PROPOSED

TOKIO, August 30.
The Ministry of Communications is planning, tp establish a subsidised shipping line connecting Japan with the principal islands of Oceania and New Zealand .in order to promote trade between the Pacific Islands and Japan. If the subsidy is approved the- two lines now operating to New Zealand will be ordered to engage in the service.
