SPEEDY BUT UNSOUND

It is a pity that Harold Guy is more or less unsound, for there are few more capable pacers in his class in. commission in the Dominion. A very patient preparation has to be allotted the Adioo Guy gelding, and his showings at Addington were a tribute to the care bestowed oh him by J. Fraser, jun. In each of his two outings he fought out the issue, in determined fashion, and his second and first placings might easily have been two victories witir an ounce of luck iri the running. He pulled up well on the final day, and it is hoped that the unsoundness that has previously troubled him has been eradicated.
