ULSTER CYCLE GRAND PRIX
LONDON, August 19. The Ulster motor-cycle Grand Prix resulted in a win for Serafini (Italy) on a Gilera machine in 2hrs 30min &\ sec at a speed of 97.85 miles an hour, making the event the world's fastest motor-cycle road race. He broke the lap record for 20§ miles at a speed of 100.03 miles an hour. Freddie Frith, riding a Norton, was second in the time of 2hrs 32min 26 sec at a speed of 96.83 miles an hour. L. J. Archer on a Velocette was third, his tims being 2hrs 38min 48sec and his speed 52.95 miles an hour.
