Favourable comment on the fact that Association football was one of the games included in the annual tournament between the Auckland and the Wellington Training Colleges was made at last night's meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Football Association. The secretary (Mr. W. J. Arcus) reported that he had that afternoon attended the tournament game between Auckland and Wellington, at Kelburn Park. In his opinion, Wellington, who lost by the only goal of the game, put up an encouraging performance against more seasoned opponents. Mr. J. J. Kean remarked that if the enthusiasm displayed meant anything, the game had come to stay in the training colleges.
