Mrs. A. H. Miles, Hobson Street, who has been spending a long holiday in Napier, has returned to Wellington.
Mrs. T. E. Y. Seddon, Wadestown, will arrive in Auckland tomorrow to spend a week with Mrs. N. BrettPatrick, Remuera.
Mrs. A. G. N. Wyatt, Auckland, wife of Captain Wyatt, R.N.. of H.M.S. Endeavour, will leave Auckland by the Maunganui on August 29 for Australia, where she will spend two weeks at Mount Kosciusko before leaving on her return to.England.
Miss Frances Harty, who has been for a 'trip to New Guinea with her father. Dr. Harty, returned to Wellington this morning by the Awatea.
The Hon. Mrs. Kingsley, wife1 of -Brigadier H. B. Kingsley, who has just retired from the command of the Indian Military Academy, Dehra Dun, India, arrived by the Awatea this morning on a world tour.
Mrs. Victor Lloyd, Wellington, who is officiating as judge at the Women's Institutes' Drama Festival, which opened last night, arrived in Palmerston North yesterday.
Mrs. R. G. Coates, St. Matthew's Vicarage, Auckland, who is staying in Wellington, will return home today.
Miss Rona Rutherford, Pahiatua, has been a visitor to Wanganui as the guest of Miss Barbara Babbage. St. John's Hill.
Mrs! Albert Upton, Hamilton, who was a visitor to Christchurch for race week, will spend several days in Wellington before returning to her home.
Mrs. K. Browning, Wellington, has returned home after a holiday in Auckland.
Mrs. H. Horrobin, Whangarei, is visiting her sister, Mrs. G. Parsons, Wellington.
Mrs. M. Chantry, Auckland, will leave by the Maunganui for Australia on August 29 and will spend two weeks there before leaving by the Oronsay* for England.
•Mrs. R. C. Hogg and Mrs. V. T. Hogg will arrive from Christchurch by the steamer express tomorrow morning.
Captain and Mrs. Joseph CorbettScott, Epsom, Auckland, celebrated the sixty-fifth anniversary of their wedding on Monday. He 101, she 87. They have lived in the same house at Epsom for 39 years.
Miss Olwen Kent is staying with her sister, Mrs. E. A. Woodall, Karori, after spending a week at the Chateau. They will leave for Auckland on Thursday night.
Mrs. Kenneth Wilkinson, Roseneath, has returned from a visit to Gisborne, where she was the guest of her mother, Mrs. F. H. J. Galvin.
Mrs. S. Birnside and her son Brian, who have arrived from Dunedin to make their home in Wellington, are staying with Mrs. Mark A. Toomey, at Belvedere, Austin Street.
Mrs. A. H. Ramsay, Remuera, Auckland, who has been visiting Christchurch for Grand National week, is at present staying in Wellington.
Mrs. Arnold Preston, Wellington, is visiting Auckland and is staying with her mother, Mrs. J. M. F. Connelly, Bayswater.
Mrs. M. Childe, Hong Kong, is visiting Wellington and is staying at the Hotel St. George.
-Mrs. M. Hudson (Nelson), Mrs. J. Johnstone and Mrs. A. Allen (Gisborne) are among the guests at the Empire Hotel.
Among the guests at the Midland Hotel are Mrs. G. R. Grace (Hunterville), Mrs. L.JSleightholme (Wairakei), and Mrs. J. C. Thomas (Melbourne).
. Mesdames M. Y. Bailis (Winchester), M. Bruce (Blenheim), S. T. Newton (Christchurch), B. Blowdorn (Timaru), and Miss F. Truiman (Winchester) are among 'the guests who are staying at the Grand Hotel.
