A SUCCESSFUL STRIKE
At the Hollywood Park (America) Meeting the stewards decided that the boys who led horses to the "paddock should not be allowed to bet. The boys went on strike when they heard of this, with the result that the first race was 25 minutes late. The stewards thereupon rescinded their ruling.
