PARAPARA HIGHWAY

Apparently the representations made by the Raetihi organisations in regard to the further employment of unemployed men in the district on public works has borne fruit, states "The Post's" Wanganui representative, for about 100 men are to be employed on further reconstruction work on the Parapara highway. The work will commence as soon as the camp is established, and mostly married men will be employed. The work, which is in the Waimarino County, will include a diviation of about two and a half miles.
