Fifth and sixth grade college representative sides met -teams1 from the cqniDined colleges at Wellington College on Saturday,' The grounds were in a very soft state. Interesting play was seen In the fifth grade match, and the result, a draw, was a fairly good Indication of the game. Considering the slippery nature of the field, both seta of backs went well, and the forwards were always up on the bail. In the early stages the colleges looked dangerous but at the end of the first spell the representatives led by 11 points to 6. The representatives bad a slight advantage In the first part of the second halt, but the colleges came with a tine burst of energy to even the score, for the colleges tries were scored by Hare (.2), M. Burke, and Parkin, and Watson kicked a penalty and converted a try. Dougan, Cray. Watson, and 1. Brown scored tries for ■the representatives, and Brown kicked a penalty and converted a try. The final score was; Hepresentatives 17, Combined Colleges IT The referee was Mr. R. J. Davis
The combined colleges werp too rast tor the sixth Grade representatives and beat them easily. For the colleges tries were scored by Jaegar 'i 2), Klssell (2), Brettel, and Avis, and Armour ..kicked a penalty and converted twice The anal score was: Combined Colleges 25, Representatives 0. The referee was Mr. S H. Palmer. ■
