At the annual meeting of the Wellington Technical College Old Students'! Association Tennis Club last week, the chairman. Mr. F. H. Paul, in presenting the report and balance-sheet, congratulated the club on its successful season, both from a financial and social standpoint. The opening day was fixed for September 16. when a social evening will be held in the club's pavilion. A dance will be held on October 14. The election of officers for the en-, suing season resulted as follows: — Patron, Mr. R. G. Ridling; president, Mr. F. H. Paul; vice-presidents, Mrs. W. Moore. Messrs. J. H. Howell, F. Black, E. T. Lander, and W. Moore; captain. Mr. C. R. Lyon; vice-captain, Mr. L. Carr; secretary, Miss C. Hansen; treasurer, Mr. W. I. Gibson; auditor. Mr. W. Jupp; committee, Misses M. and j A. Dentice. D. Roberts, and J. Crewes, Messrs. G. Fowler, J. Maybury, and G. Roberts; selection committee, Messrs. C. R. Lyon, L. Carr. and Miss J. Crewes.
