POWER SUPPLY AND TRAMWAYS

The second meeting of the Wellington City Council Electricity and Tramway Power Supply Association was held recently in.the lecture hall, Electricity House, Cuba Street, when, after an address by the chairman, Mr. B. Malyon, it was. decided that membership of the association be open- to all employees of the electricity and tramways departments, whether permanent or casual members of the staff. .

The meeting concluded - with the screening of three films, "Our Daily Bread," depicting wheat going through all processes till finally the loaf of bread is baked; "Steel," showing the stages from the mining of the iron ore to the manufacture of the finished product; and "Victoria's White Fairyland," a skiing picture of rare beauty because of its first-class photography.
