SPYING IN ITALY

AIR FORCE WORKERS

THOSE FOUND GUILTY SHOT

WARSAW, August 10.

A leading Catholic newspaper reports that Italian officials have confiscated all copies of the "Osservatore Romano" because it disclosed that six engineers, five air force technicians, and twenty pilots of the Italian air force were arrested in connection with the disclosure of plans of a new Savoia bomber.

The journal stated that samples of a special duralumin 34 per cent, lighter than any previously known were also found in the possession of a German, Herman Berg.

All those found guilty of espionage were shot in the back.
