LEVIN POST OFFICE

(Special to the "Evening Post.")

LEVIN, This Day,

Owing to the steady progress of Levin in the last few years the facilities at the Post Office have become inadequate, both for the requirements of the staff and the public. Last year two shops adjoining the Post Office were acquired by the Department, and advice has now been received that Cabinet has approved of a scheme to make a large addition to the present building. Besides the additions, the present building will be altered and modernised. It is expected that a contract will shortly be let for the work. ' ,
