FIFTH GRADE "REPS."
The following players have been chosen by Messrs. Lamason, 'Hislop, and Townsend to represent Combined Clubs in the fifth grade match with the Combined Colleges team, at Wellington College, oh Saturday:— Backs: Fisher (Johnsonville), Wilkinson (Upper Hutt), Routley and McDonald (Hutt), Elliott and Douglas (Hutt), Watson (Oriental), Gray (Wellington), and Bartosh (Taita). Forwards: Simes (Wellington College Old Boys), Martin (Institute), Bratten (Wellington), Brown and Avery (Hutt), Booth (Petone), Whiterod (Poneke), and Vardy and Brown (Athletic).
The players will practise at the Newtown Park gymnasium at 7.30 p.m. tomorrow.
The fourth grade match against Combined Colleges will not be played this' season, due to the fact that the college players are required for the annual tournament.
The City v. Suburban fourth grade match will be played on August 19. The Junior Advisory Committee is endeavouring, with the permission of the management committee .of the Wellington Rugby Union, to arrange a representative match with 'one of the nearby unions.
