POULTRY PRICES.
Prices of live poultry, supplies of which are scarce, in the Wellington market this week, are quoted by Townsend and Paul, Ltd., as follows:— White Leghorns.—Hens, 3s to 4s 6d each; cockerels, lid to Is a lb; pullets, best, 6s to 9s each; others, 3s to ss. Black Orpingtons: Hens, heavy, 5s to 9s each; medium 3s to' ss; cockerels, heavy Is to Is 2d a lb, medium Is to Is 2d lb. Rhode Island Reds: Cockerels, heavy, Is to Is 2d lb.
Ducks.—lndian Runner, young 4s to 8s each, old 3s to 4s 6d; white, young 4s to 9s, heavy 4s to 9s.
Geese.—4s to 7s each. Turkeys.—ls 2d to Is 3d lb,
