RUTH DRAPER TELEVISED
The patience, pei'sonal magnetism, and iron nerves of the Alexandra Palace Brigade have won at last, comments a London writer. They have persuaded Ruth Draper to go before the television cameras. Only a Napoleon of Muswell Hill could perform such a feat, for Miss Draper is rightly very particular about her performances. Miss Draper appeared in television for a good 25 minutes on Sunday evening, July 2. Her programme consisted of1 the exquisite comedy-drama. "In an Italian Church," in which she plays six' different characters. . This feature was produced by 24----years-old Eric Crozier, one of the up-and-coming stage directory at the A.P.
