ELLERSLIE STRONG
HORSES FOR NEW SEASON
The opening of the new racing season in the north sees over 100 horses in work on the Ellerslie track, this being the largest number of horses in training on this course for many years. The largest*,,team is that of R. S. Bagby, who, besides being the leading trainer for the season just closed at the centre, produced the crack two-year-old High Caste, who was champion of his age up till the time of his departure for Australia, where he was sold.
The following is a list of Ellerslie trainers, with their charges for the new season:—
