EAGLE.—On August 1, 1939, Mrs. Julia Eagle, passed away. The tide ha 3 run out, but not all, Some yet remains, But it will surely return. And we shall meet again, Let us all hope, in a better world. Inserted by husband and family.
HAWKER.—On July 29, 1939, at Wellington, Mary, widow of the late William Joseph Hawker, and beloved mother of Will, Tom, Bert, Les,. and Mrs. Lillsy; aged 85 years. Interred at Karori on Monday, July 31.
HUME.—On July 28, 1939, at private hospital, Falmerston North, Rene, dearly loved mother of Raemer, Graham, and Russell, 29a Tanera Crescent, Brooklyn.
SHORTT.—On July 31, \ 1939, at the Wellington Hospital, June Betty, dearty loved daughter of Charles William and Frances May Shortt, Paraparaumu; aged 6 years.
