INCREASE TO 145,000

LONDON, July 24,

A White Paper issued today estimates the increase in the. naval personnel at 12,000 more officers, seamen, boys, and Royal Marines, thus bringing the original estimate of 133,000 personnel to 145,000 for the year ending March 3, 1940.
