An echo of the much discussed "site j for market gardens" controversy was i heard at the Raetihi Chamber of Comjnerce ineeting, states "The Post's" Wanganui representative. Mr. W. E. •, Russell suggested that the authorities! in Wellington be informed that Rae- j tihi land was eminently suitable for i market gardening. The Crown has cleared much of the land, and it would j |be most suitable," said Mr. Russell.
