SYDNEY FACTORY DAMAGED

SYDNEY, July 23.

A violent explosion blew oft the roof and partly wrecked a brick wall of the St, Peters engineering and vulcanising works in the suburb of St. Peters yesterday. Two workmen received burns to the face and arms.

The explosion, which is so far unexplained, was heard two miles away and broke every window in adjacent buildings.
