In connection with the Government's plans to utilise the service of doctors in the event of war it is announced that a National Hospital Medical Service for the treatment of casualties is to be created. Doctors joining it will be liable for three years to serve in an emergency. They will be allocated to their war-time positions now so that in an emei'gency the casualty hospital staffs will function at a moment's notice.
