An impressive service was held at Christ Church, states "The Post's" Wanganui representative when the "world" flag of the Wanganui Guides was dedicated by Archdeacon R. Young, M.A. Nine colour parties delivered their colours to the clergyman., who placed each in its appointed place in the sanctuary. Last came the "world" flag colour party. The crowded church stood as the flag was dedicated and placed on the altar. The service will long be remembered for its beauty and dignity.
