Wolverhampton Wanderers made a profit last season of £11,006. Their assets now stand at £97,721, and total profits during the last twelve seasons they have been under Major Buckley amount to £85,145. '
Transfer fees last season brought
in £40,905 —a record for the club — and £25,025 was paid out in transfer fees, also a *club record.
Total income was £91,841, an increase of nearly £30,000 on the,previous season. Total gate receipts, including F.A. Cup matches and semifinal and final ties, was £48,451. Ther« was a drop of nearly £4000 on the income from first-team League matches.
Wolverhampton's share of the semifinal and final ties was £7167. A total of £22,332 was paid out in salaries and insurance, and benefits for players cost the club over £5000. Total expenditure was £80,835.
