ITALIAN WORLD CRUJSE
The round-the-world cruise of the [talian seventh naval division was cancelled and the vessels on the Pacific foast of Latin America were ordered home, it was officially announced in Rome last February. It is said that the mission of these ships—the cruisers Duca d'Aosta and Eugenio di Savoia— was completed in view of the success of their reception in Latin America, but it is l-ecalled that the plans of this cruise were once before suddenly changed. The cruise was postponed last August 24 hours before the ships were to sail. This postponement gave the first indication that the Italian Government expected the September crisis to develop.
