GROUNDS UNFIT
SOCCER POSTPONED
Because of water lying on v the surface of the Petone Recreation Ground and North Park the Petone Borough Council has notified the Wellington Football Association that those grounds will not be available for Association football tomorrow afternoon, and the fixtures for those grounds will have to be postponed. The games affected are a first A division meeting between Petone and Diamond and «a fourth division one between Petone and Moera Stop Out, both set down for the Petone Recreation Ground, and a fifth division contest between Technical College A and Petone Technical College, and a Hutt Valley League Cup game between Hutt Rovers and Technical College B, both set down for North Park
