NAZI PROPAGANDA
THE GERMAN PRESS
"BRUTAL BLOCKADE" BY
BRITAIN
(Received July 19, 1 P-m.)
LONDON, July 18.
Anti-Polish propaganda in the German Press continues, declaring that Germany's so-called change of attitude is merely the thinking of others.
The director of the Nazi organisation, Dr. Ley, told German workers: "Britain is preparing a brutal blockade of Italy and Germany if they do not submit to British leadership. They purchased Poland as cannon fodder, like the purchase of Russia, and are prepared to use money for economic superiority. starve the German workers, and force them to their knees; but British threats will not shake the determination of the Danzig Nazis."
It is stated in Berlin that Britain's only opportunity of improving the position is to cease, backing Poland.
