WORK FOR COMMONS
CROWDED PROGRAMME
CURTAILED RECESS LIKELY
(British Official Wireless.)
RUGBY, July 17.
During the 15 Parliamentary days remaining before the summer recess of the House of Commons the Government intends to dispose of all its emergency legislation as well as transact other outstanding business apart from that which can conveniently Ibe left over until the autumn session.
In view of the crowded state of the Parliamentary programme it is regarded as certain that, quite apart from the possibility of an urgency arising, the summer recess will be curtailed.
