FINE IMPOSED
INTOXICATED DRIVER
Remarking that the circumstances of the case were removed from the ordinary in some respects, Mr. W. F. Stairwell, S.M.. today imposed a fine of £15 upon Athol Lashmar Press, a salesman, aged 26, Who Was charged with being intoxicated in charge of a car in Cuba Street on July 15. His licence was cancelled for 12 months. Press, who pleaded not guilty, was represented by Mr. H. Taylor. SubInspector D. J. O'Neill prosecuted.
