BALDWIN'S DAY
Wellington College Old Boys beat Oriental by 18 points to 0, at Kelburn Park, in a senior first division match. A feature of the match was the excellent form of Baldwin, the Old Soys second five-eighth, who scored 15 of his side's points. He scored two tries, converted three, and kicked a magnificent penalty goal. The remaining points came from a try by Worboys. Oriental's points came from tries by Mason and Jack. There was little between the two packs of forwards, but the superiority of the Old Boys rearguard was very obvious. Reynolds and Baldwin combined well at fiveeighths, Pocknall was off his game at centre, and the wingers, Wright and Burns, showed dash. A. Jack on tho left wing was the pick of the Oriental backllne, and Dwyer gave useful service from the scrum. Crawford-Smith, for Old Boys, and Walton, for Oriental,, were conspicuous forward flgures. Mr. T. 3. Kirk-Burnnand was referee.
